Bumper Removal

IMPORTANT

NEVER WORK UNDER A CAR THAT IS ONLY SUPPORTED BY A FLOOR JACK.

2. Drive the car onto ramps, or jack up the front end and place jack stands or blocks under the front tires.

3. Remove the two T25 screws that hole the grill in place on top of the bumper.

4. Pull the grill forward to separate the top edge. Then lift up to remove it from the bumper.

NOTE! MK7.5 models, the grill slides forward, not up.

5. Remove the 7 screws across the bottom of the bumper splash tray.

6. Have a friend ready to hold the bumper, or have an object under the bumper to hold it in place as you remove it. Pull the bumper out of the clips along the edge of the bumper. Repeat on the other side.

7. Pull the bumper off the center support along the impact bar. Hold it in place.

8. Detach the fog lights, and/or headlight sprayers if applicable.

Canard Install

1. Clean this area of the bumper with the included alcohol swab.

2. Locate this portion area inside the front bumper.

3. Using one of the included nuts, hold the nut in the corner of this pocket, tight to the top and side. Ensure the flange of the nut is flat on the surface. Mark the center. Then drill a 5mm or 7/32" hole.

4. Hold the canard in place and install the longer bolt finger tight.

5. Rotate the canard up, and measure from the top flat edge of the bumper (where it meets the fender). Measure down 20mm or .75".

Verify that the canard flange will sit tight to the bumper the whole way along its length. Hold the canard in place, and mark the rear hole position on the bumper.

Remove the canard.

6. Drill the rear hole.

Peel off the adhesive cover, and install the canard. Use red thread locker on the nut and bolt.

7. Repeat for the opposite side.

8. Reinstall the bumper.
