NEVER WORK UNDER A CAR THAT IS ONLY SUPPORTED WITH A FLOOR JACK

2. Using a trim tool, gently pry the top edge of the lower rocker molding outward to separate the foam tape between the body and trim. A utility knife can be helpful as well, just be careful not to scratch the paint!

3. Now apply upward pressure on the molding, then using your fingers or a trim tool, pull outward to release the lip along the top edge of the molding. This lip runs the full length of the car. Once removed, the bracket underneath looks like this.

4. Slide out the 3 bottom clips (underside). Use a pick tool if neccesary to release them.

5. Place the CJM skirt on the bottom of the OEM molding. Align them front to back, making sure they are flush with the end-cap.

6. Clamp the skirt in place. Check that the center of the skirt (at the large flat tab) is about 5mm from the lip where the bottom clips into the car. This will make install easier.

7. Drill a hole in the molding, using the holes in the skirts to guide the drill bit. Start at one end, drill one hole. Then insert hardware loosely to keep the skirt aligned. See image 8.

8. Place a wedge on the inside of the skirt, then a nut. Finger tighten for now. Continue working down the skirt until each hole is drilled. Add a bolt after drilling each hole.

9. Go back and tighten the bolts with a 4 mm allen key and 10mm wrench or socket.

10. Repeat on the other skirt. At this stage, you can now peel off the adhesive tape. This won't be needed. We have found the clips hold them on well enough without the tape.

11. Reinstall the molding parts with the skirts installed. Slide the lower clips in place, then lift up, and clip the upper lip into the bracket on the rocker panel of the car. Starting at one end and working towards the other is typically easier.
